What a season is
A season on Sportivoo is a calendar year: the 2026 season runs from 1 January to 31 December 2026. Your profile shows the current season and how many days are left.
Seasons give everyone a fresh scoreboard each year, without taking away what you've built.
What starts again
When a new season begins, these go back to zero for every sport:
- wins, draws and losses;
- the number of times you were MVP;
- your last-five-games streak.
What you keep
Everything you've built carries over:
- your level and XP;
- your player card: attributes, overall and form;
- your rank, with your points;
- your placement: you don't play placement events again;
- your organised events, goals and assists over time.
The changeover
The new season starts at the very beginning of 1 January (01:00 in Italy). For a few minutes, while every player's stats move to the new season, the app may show "Season transition" and ask you to check back shortly. Nothing is lost.
At that moment we also keep a record of how you finished the season in each sport: your final rank, level, card, wins, losses and MVPs.
Questions
Does my rank reset at a new season?
No. Your rank carries over. If you stop playing, from Gold up you slowly lose points (never your tier); see the competitive ranking guide.
Does my level reset?
No. Your level and XP never go down.
Why do my wins show 0 on 1 January?
Because wins, draws, losses and MVPs are counted per season. Your totals from the year before are kept in the season's record.
