How a ride goes
From the route to the story

Before
Upload the GPX route, choose the type of bike, the start and the spots. Anyone who joins sees the route on the map and knows what's coming.

During
At the start the organiser turns on live location: riders who share theirs see each other on the map, so nobody gets lost.
- 03
After
Sharing stops when the ride ends. What stays is the ride recap and the Sportivoo journal telling its story.

Upload the route file and the duration is worked out from it.

Who sees my location during a ride?
Only the other riders who share theirs, and only while the ride is on. You turn sharing on yourself, and it stops when the event ends.
Can I upload my own route?
Yes, as a GPX file when you create the event. Anyone who joins sees it on the map before setting off.
Do I need to be fit?
It depends on the ride: the organiser gives the type of ride and the route, so you can pick one that suits you.
