Is Sportivoo free?
Yes, the app is free on iPhone and Android. An event may have a fee set by its organiser (usually the cost of the pitch), paid to them, not to Sportivoo.
Which cities does it work in?
Anywhere. Sportivoo started in Verona, Italy, and that's where most events are today, but you can create events in any city and invite anyone you like.
Which sports are there?
Mostly five-a-side football and bike rides, which people use most. There are also padel, tennis, volleyball, basketball, running and walking.
How does the waiting list work?
If an event is full you can join its waiting list. When someone drops out you get a notification and can join before someone else takes the spot.
How do I pay the fee?
The way the organiser asks: Satispay, PayPal, bank transfer or cash at the venue. Once you've paid, tap "I've paid" and the organiser confirms it. The money never goes through Sportivoo.
Can I drop out of an event?
Yes. But dropping out at the last minute or not turning up counts against your reliability: no-shows get a penalty and can't join other events for a while.
What happens if not enough people join?
If the organiser set a minimum and it isn't reached, the event is cancelled an hour before the start and everyone who joined is told.
Can I organise the same game every week?
Yes, by making the event recurring. Each new date is created a few days ahead and the regular players get the invite.
How is the MVP chosen?
The players vote after the game: whoever gets the most votes is MVP. If two are level, the one who got a vote first wins.
What is the player card?
It's your football player profile: attributes like shooting, passing and defending, an overall rating and a mark for every game. Your results and the tags your teammates give you shape it. Other players can see it too.
What's the difference between level and rank?
Your level grows with the XP from every event and never goes down. Your rank is about team sports: it goes up with wins, down with losses, and carries over from one season to the next.
Who sees my location during a bike ride?
Only the other riders who share theirs, only while the ride is on, and only if you turn it on.
Can I create a private event?
Yes. A private event doesn't show in Explore, and only the people you invite, or the members of your club, can take part.
How do I delete my account?
From the app's settings. You have 30 days to change your mind: just sign in again. If you have upcoming events, drop out of them first or write to info@sportivoo.app.
